The Brighton Schools Alumni Association (BSAA) was founded by Robert (Bob) Lambrix, BHS'57, and led for several years by "the two Petes": Henry "Pete" French, BHS'53, and Pete Heinrich, BHS'55, as co-presidents.
The BSAA works to recognize the heritage of Brighton (Rochester, NY) schools, coordinate and support reunion activities, maintain archival materials, and initiate projects that recognize individual and class accomplishments. Ongoing projects include the BSAA/Brighton High School (BHS) Alumni Hall of Fame, BSAA Scholarship, reunion support, courtyard improvements at BHS and more.
The BSAA is a vital partner in promoting and preserving the tradition of excellence in the Brighton Central School District (BCSD). We support the educational mission of the BCSD by fostering alumni relations and involvement as well as recognize alumni achievements and contributions as student role models.
The BSAA Board
The BSAA Board implements and manages a wide variety of projects. Members are from more than a dozen BHS graduation years and include several people who attended BCSD schools but did not graduate from BHS. Photos of current board members will be updated shortly. New members are always welcome — the only qualification is to have attended a BCSD school and have a passion for contributing to the quality of education and service in the district.
